Students with hearing loss, language learning issues or autism typically do not spontaneously learn communication repair strategies at the same rate or to the same level as students with typical development. The Student Communication Repair Inventory and Practical Training (SCRIPT) is a collection of materials specifically created to identify a student's level of communication repair skill development, systematically teach new skills, and foster use in everyday situations. The SCRIPT materials are intended for students with developmental ages as young as five and extending through adolescence. The SCRIPT program develops students' communication repair skills at home and in the classroom.
