Description

Being broke is hard. When you're broke, you can't afford to pay for the things you want and sometimes even the things you need. And when you're broke, it affects the way that you look at ourselves. You feel inadequate and it doesn't help that there's a stigma following around people who struggle to make ends meet. People think that if you're broke, you deserve to be broke. People believe that you're broke because you didn't put in the time and/or the effort to work hard and create a better life for yourself. They don't realize that some people are broke but they're working two jobs and they're going to school. There are a lot of reasons why people are broke and many of these reasons are completely out of their control. Sometimes people inherit poverty and sometimes people get trapped in systems that create debt and compound it over time. There are a lot of guides out there written for poor people explaining how they can get out of debt, but many of these are trying to sell a product or pyramid scheme. They're trying to get you to pay for their program so they can teach you how to invest in real estate and make all this money that they're claiming you can make without spending a dime. They want you to pay $30 for a book that gives you more questions than answers. They want you to take their $200 webinars to learn things that you can probably find out through a series of Google searches. Be wary when it comes to programs that promise you the world. Poor people are easy to scam because they're desperate and willing to try almost anything. Just as many are the books written about how you can get out of debt and earn extra money doing things that are either unrealistic or inaccessible with your current income. They'll teach you how to invest $2,000, but what if you don't have $2,000? They'll tell you that you don't need a lot of money to get started, but then they'll urge you to put down more money than you earn in three months to "invest in your future". I'm not here to sell you anything and I'm not here to put unrealistic ideas in your head. I'm here to tell you how I got out of debt and stopped being broke so that you can employ the same tips and do the same. I promise every tip on this list is somewhere within your means, you just have to get a little creative.
