On Christmas Eve, America awakens to the sound of horror. Our worst nightmare has become reality. We once thought our shores were safe and impregnable from an invasion from foreign powers, but the events of Battlefield America prove just how vulnerable we are. A large and powerful force of 2 million soldiers from four different nations launch a simultaneous surprise attack on the United States in Houston, Washington DC, Alaska, and the West Coast. The enemy counted on an easy victory over the Americans; however, there was one thing they did not expect - the American Soldier. Armed only with guts, bullets, and sheer will power, the American soldiers put everything on the line to stop this vicious attack on our soil. Battlefield America does not simply give the reader a bird's eye view of battle; instead, the reader finds him or herself in the middle of an infantry squad assaulting a bridge or defending a ridge line. Gunfire, explosions, and chaos are overshadowed by the heroism and sacrifice of brave men and women who face the teeth of steel; and as the danger of death lurks all around, they pick up their rifles and charge into hell's fury. Battlefield America is not just a story of war; it is also a testament to the brave men and women who wear our nation's cloth and risk everything to keep our nation and each other safe.
