Physics is, in general, the most challenging of the undergraduate course for students. Usually, the mathematics is not too difficult, and even in a calculus based physics course, calculus is rarely used. The main purpose of the calculus "pre-requisite," is to understand the relation of notation to the concepts. You should be skilled at precalculus topics prior to starting the course.
