Darcie and Baron had dated since junior high. He was her one and only love and they took it for granted that someday they'd marry and have the average home and family. But ever since Darcie was six and visited the Grand Ole Opry with her parents, she'd wanted to move to Nashville and pursue her singing career. Once Baron cheated on her, it made it easier to leave him. "He told you he was sorry and would never do it again," her mother would say. Maybe Darcie was looking for a reason. Baron promised he'd visit her in Nashville as often as possible; he secretly didn't think she would stay away that long. En route to Nashville by Greyhound bus, Darcie befriended Clint. He was moving to Nashville to be with his fiancee, Libby, a flight attendant for a major airline. They'd been in a long distance relationship for five years due to him being in college and working for his father. When he dropped out of college to move closer to Libby, his parents dis-inherited him, taking away his BMW and credit cards. Once Darcie found an apartment and a job, she began to go out with Clint and Libby. It was by their nagging that she entered a talent contest and won second place. First place was a recording demo; she took this as an omen to give up on a career in singing. With the expansion of Baron's family business, Darcy saw less and less of him and only talked to him briefly a few times a week by phone. One night, with Libby being out of town for several days, Darcie agreed to have dinner at Clint's apartment and while watching a romantic movie, they kissed. Clint realized it was a big mistake, but Darcie wanted it to be something else. She didn't know when she'd began to fall in love with Clint, but here she was, wanting more of him. Clint would have none of it. He loved Libby with his whole being. It was one Saturday Libby was going home from a shopping trip with Darcie that she had a bad auto accident that sent her into a coma. They waited for three months for her to come out of it. Just when Darcie thought Clint would be her's, Libby woke up. Darcie wanted to clear the air and tell Baron about the night she and Clint kissed. She drove to Waterville to talk to him but when she arrived and found him in a compromising position with his secretary, she rushed back to Nashville without him even knowing she was there. Now Darcy feels betrayed and lonely. She doesn't have Baron or Clint. I will leave you hanging here. Does Darcie end up with Clint or Baron... or a new guy? You will never guess,
