La pensée de Heidegger est plus contestée que jamais depuis la publication des Cahiers noirs. La controverse a pris une ampleur qui déborde l'université, ses recherches et ses enseignements. L'interprétation des Cahiers noirs, écrits entre 1932 et 1948, est devenue politique et a même pris l'allure d'un Kulturkampf. Ceux qui ont pris position contre Heidegger et qui exigent qu'on interdise la diffusion de sa pensée sont du côté des Lumières et du progrès ; ceux qui se déclarent pour lui et qui ne mettent pas en doute son importance pour le XXe et sans doute le XXIe siècles soutiennent l'obscurantisme, voire pire. La partition anti-ennemi recoupe la division politique de l'Europe qui se dessine toujours plus nettement. Que la pensée de Heidegger puisse être entraînée dans pareille querelle tient au fait qu'elle confine parfois à l'idéologie. La publication de mon Introduction critique à la pensée de Heidegger ne pourra se soustraire à ces débats. Peter Trawny
