Né le 15 septembre 1959 à Aubagne, Jean-Pierre Platet se passionne très tôt pour la lecture, l’histoire et la musique. En 1978, un grave accident de la circulation vient bouleverser sa vie : traumatisme crânien, coma, et séquelles neurologiques marquent le début d’un parcours chaotique. À l’aube de l’an 2000, habité par un impérieux besoin d’écrire, il entreprend la rédaction de son premier livre, Impossible, mais les aléas de l’existence l’empêchent de mener son entreprise à terme avant 2016. Il s’attelle actuellement à la préparation de deux nouveaux ouvrages.
