Des éléphants et des rhinocéros sont tués dans une réserve du Kenya pour l'ivoire et les cornes. Le même souci est présent dans les montagnes de Thomas concernant les peaux de bouquetins et de chamois. Le danger est partout. Les deux amoureux vont essayer de protéger de leur mieux ces animaux en danger. Kenya est un roman contre le braconnage des animaux et un moyen de rendre hommage à ceux qui les protègent.
