La narratologie, française à l'origine, mais nourrie dès le départ de la recherche internationale, se renouvelle depuis quelques années, en partie grâce au ré-examen (explicite ou non, mais comportant un regard critique) des thèses formulées pendant les années soixante et soixante-dix. Sans se vouloir un " panorama " de la narratologie contemporaine, cet ouvrage propose un certain nombre de travaux reflétant ce renouvellement. Les auteurs, sensibles aux différents objets, méthodes et finalités des recherches narratives actuelles, démontrent la fécondité de la première narratologie à travers ses transformations ultérieures. Ce faisant, ils confirment la visée transdisciplinaire de l'étude du récit au début du XXIe siècle. Cet ouvrage est issu des travaux du séminaire " Narratologies contemporaines ", organisé par le Centre de recherche sur les arts et le langage (CNRS/EHESS).
