Das Buch macht eine anschauliche Auslegeordnung, ohne allerdings bei den einzelnen Anwendungen zu sehr in die Tiefe zu gehen. In acht Kapiteln wird man in das Finden und Aufbereiten von authentischem Internet-Material (Texte, Audio-, Videodateien), elektronischen Wörterbüchern, Chat Rooms u. Ä. für den Unterricht eingeführt. Auch eine Kurzeinführung in den Gebrauch von Electronic Whiteboards, Digicams und sogar PowerPoint fehlt nicht. Das Wertvollste am Buch ist vielleicht das Kapitel über die ELT-Sites mit Links zu den besten und weitverbreitesten online Übungsmaterialien für den Sprachunterricht. Am Schluss befinden sich z. T. nützliche Kopiervorlagen zu einzelnen Arbeitsaufträgen, die im Hauptteil des Buchs vorangestellt werden. Oswald Inglin.
