Das Buch beschreibt umfassend die Struktur verschiedener Anzeigepflichten und die Rechtsfolgen der Nichtbeachtung ebendieser. Unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen wird Gerichten und Behörden eine dem Legalitätsprinzip ähnelnde gesetzliche Anzeigepflicht auferlegt. Die Autorin befasst sich mit den Folgen der Nichtbeachtung der verschiedenen Anzeigepflichten. Eine gesetzlich geregelte Rechtsfolge fehlt, mit Ausnahme von § 43 GWG, in dem die Nichtanzeige als Ordnungswidrigkeit behandelt wird. Die Arbeit zeigt weiterhin Unterschiede und Gemeinsamkeiten in der Ausgestaltung der Anzeigeverpflichtungen auf. Abschließend schlägt die Autorin einen Entwurf für eine Fassung eines eigenen Straftatbestandes vor, mit dem Strafbarkeitslücken geschlossen werden könnten.
