Zentralen Gesichtspunkten wie dem kreativen Anspruch des D.I.Y. (Do It Yourself) wird ebenso nachgegangen wie der oft nicht unproblematischen Interaktion mit der Presse und anderen Medien. So ausdifferenziert und facettenreich diese Szene sich von Funpunk bis Hardcore darstellt, zeichnet sich Punk als Bewegung doch durch seine bemerkenswerte Kontinuität aus und hat damit Einfluss bis in die Gegenwart.
