Description

As a refugee following the second world war, Nikolai brought his wife and 2 daughters (Nadia and Vera) to England ; upon the demise of his wife, Nikolai, now in his 80s, befriends a buxom blonde less than half his age, whose expiring visa could be renewed were she to marry Nikolai. Nadia and Vera are ideologically worlds apart, one being a socialist, the other a free-market capitalist. However, they needs must put aside their differences to save their father. In the process, they discover more of their father's life and personal history. Risible tale tinged with much wisdom and sadness in a classic tragi-comic mix.
