作者簡介 |

貝蒂‧愛德華(Betty Edwards)

加州大學洛杉磯分校(UCLA)藝術學士,加州州立大學北嶺分校(CSUN)藝術碩士,以及加州大學洛杉磯分校的藝術、教育和心理學博士。曾任教於洛杉磯聯合學區的威尼斯高中、洛杉磯社區大學。自1978年到1991年退休前,她都是加州州立大學長堤分校(CSULB)的藝術教授。

她最具代表性的著作《像藝術家一樣思考》於1979年首度出版,即長踞《紐約時報》暢銷書榜,這本具革命性的藝術教學傑作,成為世界各地許多藝術學校、藝術家書架上的標準教材。四十年來歷經三次改版,仍長銷不墜,光是全美銷售便達300萬冊,更授權海外24種語言出版。
