「客居在外，本來的用意是記點事、寫點心情，無意寫詩，但寫著寫著，怎麼下筆？怎麼收尾？也就斟酌起來了；有時候，直筆書寫，總覺太白，不如迂迴曲折，多點言外之意。於是就有一些含吐不露，竟像一首一首小詩了。」──李瑞騰

詩人李瑞騰曾任《商工日報》副刊主編、《文訊》雜誌總編輯。2010年2月1日從國立中央大學借調至國立台灣文學館擔任館長四年，現為九歌文教基金會董事長、黃大魚文化藝術基金會董事長、台灣詩學季刊雜誌社社長，長期通過媒體和社團推動文藝公共事務，引領詩歌浪潮不遺餘力。

《阿疼說》選自臉書，是自媒體寫作的一種方式，詩人從臉書選出近百首富有詩意的長短句，加上詩題，另以近年陸續寫成的十幾首新詩為附輯，成就了一本「類詩集」。題材多元，緣情也言志，恰恰反映出詩人在台南府城四年的心情與態度，滿布歲月的痕跡。
