Este libro fruto de una propuesta investigativa responde a un vacío en la academia de una perspectiva interdisciplinaria sobre el papel de la mujer en las religiones reveladas. Cada disciplina desde sus epistemes ha contribuido a analizar textos antiguos de las religiones relacionados con la mujer y se hacen las extrapolaciones respectivas a los contextos actuales; lo que se busca con esta propuesta es hacer una lectura que logre presentar cómo la mujer ha sido agente activa en las religiones reveladas a partir de la solidaridad, aportando así al diálogo interreligioso. Este diálogo interreligioso invita a una relación respetuosa de intercambio, interacción y unión de las diversas tradiciones de fe, traduciéndose en una motivación a aceptar y respetar las diferencias que llevan a acciones de unidad y cooperación interreligiosa.
