理论自觉与中国社会学的本土化

社会学本土化是世界社会学运动的一部分，中国社会学的本土化与社会学从西方传入中国是同步的，因此，社会学中国化即中国社会学的本土化是一个伴随着中国社会学成长的经久话题。理论自觉的学术取向与学术态度是中国社会学走向自觉本土化的良好学术心态，有助于确立具有中国特色的社会学理论体系与学派，有助于中国社会学走出“边陲”，逐步与欧美强势社会学确立平等对话的互动地位，改变长期形成的“统制”格局，能够最大限度地唤起社会学者的学术自信心和反思批判能力。本书从学术史的角度梳理了中国社会学本土化的历程，以解放（批判）的视角提出理论自觉是社会学中国化并走向世界的有效途径，指出秉持理论自觉的学术胸襟和理性态度是中国社会学处理古今中外关系的成熟表现，是中国社会学走向繁荣的不二选择。本书赋予了理论自觉新的含义，并丰富了学科本土化理论的内涵。
