《猶太流散中的表徵與認同――徐新教授從教40年紀念文集》（Representations and Identities In the Jewish Diaspora：Essays in Honor of Professor Xu Xin）一書，系南京大學猶太-以色列研究所所長、中國猶太文化研究聯盟會長徐新教授從教40年的紀念論文集，共收錄國內外知名猶太學專家圍繞“猶太人流散”這個主題撰寫的論文30篇左右，由南京大學宋立宏教授主編。
流散是猶太文明的核心特徵。早在兩千多年前，猶太人的大部分就已經居住在巴勒斯坦之外，這無論在語言、社會、政治、經濟、文化、心理方面都對猶太文明產生了深遠影響。探究猶太流散的歷程、表現和經驗，對於深入認識猶太文明不可或缺。在全球化的背景下，各民族的流散社團（如海外華人社團）也日益成為一個引人矚目的現象，本文集也能為這方面的研究提供參照。國內尚無專門探討猶太流散的同類著作出版，本書可以填補漢語學界這方面的一個空白。
