Součástí je rovněž pojednání o rehabilitaci v ortopedii, styčných oblastech neurologie a neurochirurgie i o vyšetřovacích metodách. Následuje část speciální, která se podrobně věnuje jednotlivým topografickým lokalitám. Knihu uzavírá nově zařazená kapitola traumatologie, která obsahuje základy obecné i končetinové traumatologie.
