In 1991-92, Bíglová conducted interviews with 36 Jewish women who were living in Prague, born between 1900-36, concerning their prewar lives and Holocaust experiences. Many of the interviewees survived internment in Theresienstadt and Auschwitz. Discusses, inter alia, traumas that were experienced by the women in the ghetto and in camps, including loss of close relatives, rape and abortion. Matějček and Dytrych apparently helped with the data collection and preparing the book for publication.
