The chapters discuss different methods of generating electrical power, economic consideration and tariff of power system, illumination, light sources used in lighting systems, conductor size and insulation, lighting accessories used in wiring systems, fuses and MCBs, meter board, main switch and distribution board, earthing methods, types of wiring, wiring system for domestic use and cost estimation of wiring system. Designed as a text for the undergraduate students of almost all branches of engineering, the book will also be useful to the practising engineers as reference.
