Som voksen blir Jalle en etterspurt merkevareekspert, og han tror selv at de eneste minnene han har igjen fra barndommen, er samlingen med Tintin-figurer. Men han tar feil. Da han møter Stockholmsoperaens nye stjerneskudd Hanna Kjöle, blandes plutselig fortid og nåtid sammen, og Jalle tvinges til å ta et oppgjør med barndommens mareritt.
