Znaleźliśmy się w opowieści – tak to sobie podsumowałem. Jeszcze dobę temu, w tym martwym punkcie mojego życia, gdzie od jakiegoś czasu na nic nie liczyłem i – pogodzony ze swoim wypalonym przeznaczeniem – wegetowałem z dnia na dzień na nic nie czekając, wydarzyło się coś, co wykracza daleko poza definicję cudu. Cała życiowa wiedza zawarta w moich przekonaniach na temat życia okazała się naiwnym dziecięcym wybrykiem, gdy uświadomiłem sobie, że świat, który dotychczas znałem, jest tylko ziarenkiem piasku na bezgranicznej plaży. W najmniej spodziewanym momencie spełniła się najbardziej niemożliwa obietnica, którą składało mi niebo, gdy poznawałem świat, a odwieczne urojenia – stały się przeczuciem. Nie uwierzyłem we wszystko od razu, być może nigdy nie uwierzyłem do końca w to, co mnie spotkało, ale wiem, że wydarzyło się naprawdę... Życie Sebastiana Wagnera skończyło się – tak przynajmniej twierdził. Niegdyś wybujały marzyciel, teraz – skrajny realista, z ledwością wiąże koniec z końcem, nie licząc na lepszy los. Któregoś dnia zdarza się dziwny wypadek – Wagner o mało nie umiera, gdy jego życie ratuje... anioł. Od tej chwili wszystko się zmienia. Sebastian będzie musiał przekonać się, że prawda jest inna, niż sądził i nie tylko porzucić swoje poglądy, ale przede wszystkim uwierzyć, że wszystko jest możliwe, a los zwykłego człowieka może nawet zmienić dzieje całego świata. Czy zamknie się w sobie, uznając wszystko za fikcję, czy też zmieni się na tyle, by zaufać swoim najskrytszym marzeniom?
