Niniejszy Poradnik jest przeznaczony jest dla osób, które dopiero rozpoczynają swoją przygodę z fotografią. Postanowiłem, w sposób w miarę przejrzysty i najbardziej zrozumiały, przybliżyć temat fotografowania oraz zrozumienia podstawowych zasad dobrej fotografii. Podstawowym zamierzeniem jest przedstawienie fotografowania wszelkich obiektów, wykonywanie zdjęć o charakterze pamiątkowym, zdjęć osób, krajobrazów, czy nawet fotografii roślin i zwierząt. Dzisiaj, gdy postęp techniczny jest wszechobecny i niemal każdy „robi” zdjęcia, dobrze jest poznać podstawy tego wspaniałego hobby i jednocześnie uświadomić o istniejących kanonach związanych z robieniem „fotek”. A co to jest w ogóle fotografia? Można odpowiedzieć jednym zdaniem: Fotografia to malowanie (pisanie) światłem. Skoro już to wiemy, przejdźmy da najważniejszej sentencji związanej z fotografowaniem: nie fotografuje sprzęt – tylko fotograf. Sprzęt jest jedynie narzędziem umożliwiającym zapis, jednak temat ekspozycji i walory zdjęciowe zawsze są zależne od nas.
