Los iberos constituyen una de las culturas más interesantes del Mediterráneo antiguo, un rico mosaico de pueblos distribuidos por la fachada oriental y el sur de la Península Ibérica, desde la provenza francesa hasta Cádiz. La arqueología se acerca a su tiempo y a sus territorios con el objetivo de analizar sus procesos históricos y, en general, la transformación de las formas de vida en los siglos anteriores a la conquista romana. Los iberos eligieron las imágenes como un medio de expresión para exponer creencias y construir sus discursos. Examinarlas nos permite asomarnos a cómo concibieron el medio natural que les rodeaba. Ellas nos ayudan a conocer esta parte de nuestra rica herencia cultural.
