Las personas con las que se cruza, la desconfianza hacia ellas, las necesidades que comienza a padecer y las tareas que debe cumplir como nuevo Adepto, lo llevan a caminar por una cuerda tan floja que todo e vuelve borroso, inestable e intolerable. Inmerso en esta nueva vida, se encontrará ante situaciones límite que deberá resolver sin contrariar su rectitud moral, pero a la vez, sin romper las reglas de ésta perversa sociedad, a la cual le comienza a tener cada vez más desprecio. El escritor nos transporta a una realidad en donde los sucesos transcurren vertiginosamente. Cada frase es una imagen que nos deja en medio de las acciones, frente a frente con los personajes, incitando nuestra curiosidad, lleno de intriga, suspenso y empatía, hasta un final inesperado.
