Durante tres años un grupo de profesores innovadores y entusiastas de nuestra Lengua Española y de San Millán de la Cogolla hemos trabajado coordinados para desarrollar el proyecto «En torno a la Lengua». Cada uno de nosotros ha elegido un tema sobre el que investigar desde una perspectiva divulgativa, didáctica, STEAM que pudiera servir para aprender todos de todos. En tres ocasiones nos hemos podido reunir en el maravilloso entorno donde nació la Lengua que hoy disfrutamos y hablamos. Satisfechos con nuestro trabajo decidimos realizar esta publicación en la que se recogen los trabajos que veintiún autores han realizado por escrito y que van referidos a temas tan variados como el Santo Millán, la Rioja, los monasterios de Suso y Yuso, la escritura medieval, los códices de San Millán de la Cogolla, la evolución de la lengua, el arca de San Millán, las tablas de San Millán, las boticas y hospitales medievales, la Ciencia y la Ingeniería en los monasterios de San Millán, los hispanismos, Berceo poeta, el canto gregoriano... Todo ello planteado como un estudio divulgativo sin más pretensión que hacer asequible y entendible para todos el gran valor de nuestra Lengua Española y San Millán de la Cogolla.
