El volumen está estructurado en tres partes: la primera, “Sobre teatro histórico”, se dedicada a examinar una serie de aspectos de las dramaturgias de corte histórico o historicista; la segunda, “Sobre teatro de humor”, se centra en el examen de esta modalidad teatral, otra de las tendencias más significativas del arte de Talía, en la actualidad; y la tercera, “Sobre otros aspectos teatrales”, se dedica al estudio de otras (y diversas) manifestaciones dramatúrgicas de hoy: teatro breve, teatro (musical) y globalización en España, relaciones del teatro con la prensa, el cine, la televisión, la radio hasta llegar a las herramientas más actuales, las nuevas tecnologías. Un volumen, original y novedoso, que servirá, sin duda, para conocer y amar más al teatro, una actividad artística, cultural y social de tan larga y prolongada trayectoria.
