O texto final é do jornalista William Dufty, do New York Post, amigo da vocalista. Nessa edição brasileira, o relato do que aconteceu a Billie do início da década de 1950 até sua morte trágica, em julho de 1959, é feito pelo crítico de música Roberto Muggiati.
