"Hans Egede eller Guds ord for en halv tønde spæk" er Sven Holms kritiske skuespil om dansk kolonihistorie i anledning af det Grønlandske Hjemmestyres indførelse i 21. februar 1979. Sven Holm (f. 1940) er dansk forfatter. Han debuterede i 1961 med novellesamlingen Den store fjende. Holms store forfatterskab, der omfatter skuespil, romaner og noveller, studerer den menneskelige psyke under pres: Han udforsker splittelser og forbindelser mellem magt og psyke, fx som angst, der fører til omverdensdestruktion, eller som (køns)rolletvang over individet. Siden 2001 har Sven Holm været medlem af Det Danske Akademi. Han modtog i 1974 Det Danske Akademis Store Pris for sit forfatterskab, i 1994 modtog han Nordisk Dramatikerpris for Schumans nat og i 2001 modtog han Kritikerprisen for novellesamlingen Kanten af himlen.
