Description
En sen aften i marts omkommer Pelle Martin Nordborg efter et fald fra et vindue i sin lejlighed på Nørrebro i København. Politiet afslutter sagen som selvmord, men godt et år efter er Pelles ven Simon stadig ikke overbevist om, at Pelle tog sit eget liv. Heller ikke selv om gerningsstedet var aflåst, og et mord i lejlighedens lukkede rum derfor synes umuligt. Simon bestyrkes imidlertid i sin mistanke, da han modtager en besked med en kryptisk signatur, der mere end antyder, at der er tale om en forbrydelse. Simons jagt på sandheden om Pelles død hvirvler ham ind i en farlig leg med ord og identiteter. Ved sin side har han den bryske københavnerrappenskralde Jonna, ejer af Café Traum, som han efterhånden knytter nære bånd til. “Digterens død” er krimi og samtidsbillede i ét og er første bog i Traum-trilogien, som er en moderne spændingsserie om masker og forvandlinger, længsler og drømme i det 21. århundrede.
