E' l'inizio per il professor Sam Lombardo di una dura lotta per la sopravvivenza. Scoprirà che per le leggi vigenti in Italia una ragazza di 15 anni è una bambina, anche una di 17 lo è. Ovvero non esiste differenza penale tra una bambina di sei anni e le sue amanti. Perciò sarà accusato di essere un molestatore, un abusatore, un irretitore di minori, un pedofilo. Subirà la gogna mediatica e il carcere. Ma il professor Sam Lombardo, pur riconoscendo i suoi errori deontologici e la sua debolezza psicologica, ha la forza intellettuale di ribellarsi, perché laddove latita la ragione non vi può essere giustizia.
