〈사도행전 속으로〉 제11권은 100주년기념교회 이재철 목사가 2012년 11월 11일부터 2014년 12월 21일까지 사도행전 17, 18장을 본문으로 주일예배에서 설교한 내용을 엮은 것이다. 2013년 4월 전립선암 발병 사실을 처음 알게 된 저자는 6월 수술을 받고 10월에 다시 강단에 올랐다.
이 책은 2차 전도 여행을 마치기까지 바울의 행적을 따라가면서 그가 전한 복음의 핵심이 무엇인지 가르쳐 준다. 빌립보에서 심한 태형을 당해 상처 난 몸도, 초라하기만 한 행색도 복음을 전하는 일에 걸림돌이 될 순 없었다. 대적자, 비방자, 핍박자가 많았으나 목숨을 아까워하지 않는 동역자들이 함께했다. 바울은 박해를 피해 지역을 옮길 수밖에 없었으나 동역자들을 남겨 두어, 복음을 접한 그리스도인들을 굳건히 세우고자 하는 의지를 보여 준다.
