Description

Justus, een gevoelig kind, groeit op in een harmonieus gezin. Hij heeft het er goed met zijn zusjes en zijn ouders. Als hij negen jaar is, overlijdt plotseling zijn moeder. Justus wordt uit huis geplaatst en komt pardoes terecht in de jungle van crisisopvang en jeugdzorg - zonder zijn zusjes, zijn vader met wie hij zo'n goede band heeft, zonder zijn pasgegeboren broertje. Hij voelt zich wanhopig eenzaam. Is het misschien zijn schuld dat zijn moeder is doodgegaan? Waarom moet hij anders zomaar het huis uit? Waar zijn de mensen die hem zijn eigenwaarde en het vertrouwen in liefde terug kunnen geven? En wat betekent het geloof waarmee hij van jongs af aan is opgegroeid?
