About the Author: Aanya is a budding writer, one among the youngest in India and the world. Born and living in Ahmedabad, she is currently a fifth grade student at Eklavya School. An avid reader since the age of three, she has finished reading several hundred books till now. Always being inquisitive since an early age, she asked dozens of questions on various interesting things she saw, heard, read, and observed. She dived into writing poetry at the age of seven with very natural ease. Poetry became the rhythmic creation of her beautiful imagination and thoughts. Today, at the age of ten, Aanya has penned down more than 200 poems on a variety of themes. Many of her poems have featured and been published in Anthologies, Journals, Newspapers, and Magazines all across the world. Aanya spent a lot of her time during Covid Lockdown in penning more poems, short stories, and haikus. Her inspiration to write comes from her favourite authors Sudha Murthy, J.K. Rowling, Roald Dahl, and Enid Blyton. She also likes painting, art, dance, travelling and hiking. She likes to follow and be updated with the latest news and events happening around the world.
