  書號：0B531091實體書籍購買連結：https://pse.is/RYUA9各類考試介紹連結：http://goo.gl/Q3edo7筆者在1992年英國留學時，已經強烈感受到，當時歐洲對 "model"（模特兒）重視程度提升，讓筆者預知深受西方文化影響下的臺灣，有朝一日，必定會走向這個趨勢。果不出其然，2004年在名模林志玲的帶動之下，國人開始密切的關注"model" 的一舉一動，"model" 不再如過往只是個可有可無、跑龍套的小角色，而是話題接連不斷的焦點人物。"model" 這個議題隨著社會大眾關注而躍升成為熱門探究的新顯學，也帶動學校開始紛紛成立與 "model" 相關的一些科系或是組別。雖然社會大眾如此重視 "model" ，但學界與坊間，卻未見一本由國人針對"model" 為專題所撰寫的專書，如此這也造成大家對 "model" 認知上的欠缺與不足。筆者基於對時尚文化教育的使命，決定為這個空缺填補一些內容、提供一些想法，讓社會大眾更清楚"model"的發展歷程與文化價值。本書的撰寫是以個人所熟悉的歷史脈絡為主軸，並且以「時尚模特兒的前世—藝術模特兒」、「時尚模特兒的推手—時尚攝影師」、「西方時尚模特兒的本尊」、「臺灣時尚模特兒發展史」，這四個獨立篇章來做為全書主要的結構。其中將「藝術模特兒」與「時尚攝影師」做為論述「時尚模特兒」鋪陳前的安排，是考量 "model" 一詞在語意上淵源是與藝術有著深厚的關係。另外，「時尚攝影師」章節的增列，則是顧及到「時尚攝影師」對 "fashion model" 價值的提升與確立，是具有直接且關鍵的影響所致。希望這本書的問世，能有助於社會大眾對"model"相關課題的理解。
