Pasados casi dos años de haber entrado en vigencia de forma integral el Código General del Proceso, no son pocas las inquietudes y vicisitudes que se han venido presentando en la práctica forense respecto de la aplicación e interpretación de las nuevas figuras procesales o frente a aquellas que sufrieron ajustes estructurales. Conscientes de dicha situación, desde el seno de la academia hemos querido trabajar en la actualización de la obra que ahora presentamos a la comunidad jurídica, a fin de que se convierta en una hoja de ruta para todos los operadores de justicia, abogados, estudiantes y especialistas del derecho procesal. Gracias a los generosos comentarios de estudiantes, amigos y colegas, para esta segunda edición hemos abordado el estudio de algunos temas que no fueron tratados en la primera. Se ha profundizado asimismo en el análisis de otros tópicos, que también han sido actualizados atendiendo la visión crítica de los autores y las posturas jurisprudenciales que se han generado.
