護老情真: 護老技巧進階手冊

本書是香港大學秀圃老年研究中心所編制的長者照顧培訓教材。全套系列分為教授基本照顧技巧及概念的「入門」程度自學手冊、講述特別護理的「進階」程度自學手冊、一套示範照顧技巧的「護老情真」錄影教材，及詳述照顧技巧的「評估手冊」。教材以「全人」的概念，從生理、心智及心理社交三方面為照顧本地長者的需求設計，並配合不同照顧者的需要而編寫。內容有系統地教授長者照顧的知識和技巧，包括：認識老化過程、基本個人照顧、急救處理等。本書適合在家中照顧年老親人的家居照顧者，以及從事護老工作的專業人士使用。

此教材是本港首個有系統及經試驗的全面長者照顧培訓教材，其內容經各方的專業人士撰寫及審閱，包括社工、精神科專科醫生和護士、老人科顧問醫生、營養師、職業治療師、物理治療師、及大學教授等。
