Am vrut să descâlcim nodurile existenţei, am vrut s-o obligăm să iasă din subînţelesurile ei şi s-o facem să se exprime pe înţelesul tuturor. Am vrut s-o recuperăm din teritoriul penumbrei, pentru a risipi, măcar o vreme, confuzia în care ne complacem trăind.“ (Autorii) „Aş spune că frumuseţea prieteniei noastre vine din faptul că de-o viaţă avem bombăneli reciproce. Ne contrazicem, dar nu putem unul fără altul, şi cred că ăsta e şi sensul dialogurilor pe care le-am încercat şi care acum, când sunt sub ochii noştri şi se transformă în carte, mi se par mai bune decât noi.“ (Andrei PLEȘU) — Andrei, ne apropiem cu adevărat de sfârşitul dialogului nostru de azi, dar şi de sfârşitul celor optsprezece dialoguri pe care le-am avut împreună.
