This book highlights new trends and challenges in intelligent systems, which play an essential part in the digital transformation of many areas of science and practice. All papers were originally presented at the International KES Conference on Human Centred Intelligent Systems 2021 (KES HCIS 2021) held on June 14–16, 2021 in the KES Virtual Conference Centre.
