Description

社會生活（social life）是指人與人之間互動所形成的社會關係，以及此種關係所構築的社會規律。晚近2、30年間，「生活史研究」已成為歷史學日益受到重視的次領域。


本書共收入10篇論文，所選論文不局限於史學研究者的作品，更吸收人類學、社會學、空間地理與建築學界的成果，作為跨學科對話的基礎；編排依清代、日治而至戰後以及跨時代的變遷。各篇文章的關係亦即以「時間／空間」為基底的生活史研究，以及由時間、空間及環繞物質生活面向而勾連起來的社會文化關係。


日常生活中大部分人仰賴依靠的物質條件（如食衣住行），常是社會的生活史集中探討的課題，是本書挑選文章的標準之一。除此之外，也特別著重表現在場／不在場、日常／非常、家內／家外等複雜的、長期變遷的研究成果。
