P.」的小冊子形式出版無政府主義文獻。 維洛克應雇主外國駐倫敦使館第一秘書瓦迪米爾的要求，如果要證明自己是個好探員，必須炸毀格林威治天文台。後來格林威治公園果然發生了爆炸案，有一人遇害，於是警方開始調查。原本麥凱里斯被列為嫌疑犯，而助理處長想要找他的線民維洛克來幫忙，但在陰錯陽差之下，督察長錫特根據爆炸現場遺留的大衣找到了維洛克的商店，發現受害人是史蒂夫。維洛克對溫妮承認了爆炸案是他所為，溫妮驚嚇之餘，在痛苦中刺死了維洛克，並逃離現場。 溫妮逃離之後，巧遇奧西彭，乞求他協助，奧西彭協助溫妮並搞出曖昧，不過真正的目的其實是維洛克的銀行存款。他們計畫逃亡，他幫助她乘船去歐洲大陸。然而，溫妮不穩定的情緒加上維洛克被謀殺的公告愈來愈讓奧西彭擔心，於是他丟下了溫妮，帶著維洛克的存款逃逸無蹤。 後來，奧西彭看見一則新聞報導，有個符合溫妮外貌的女人從渡輪上失蹤了，她留下了一枚結婚戒指，溺斃於英吉利海峽中……。? 出版社 商周出版 (城邦)
