疫症病案一百例

書中敍述了成千上百萬遭受愛滋病、性病蹂躪的人及他們痛苦的生活。傷殘與死亡者之多已無法計算，真相難為人知，為了讓世人警惕，認識愛滋病和性病的禍害真實情況，八十多歲的高耀潔教授在流亡美國前，拚死也要把這本書的手稿帶上。為的，就是今天這本書的出版。
本書重點闡述了愛滋病、性病傳播及流行疫情的起源和禍害，揭露了內地官僚捂蓋真相的手段，受害者被阻攔上訪的遭遇，又羅列了大量防治知識，全面披露愛滋病和性病在內地的真實情況。
《疫症病案一百例》是高耀潔教授計劃出版的最後一本著作，是以她本人所寫的，二○○四年獲得第十四屆中國圖書獎的《鮮為人知的故事》為基礎，增加了三分之二以上的內容和八十多張照片，上篇主要講述愛滋病，下篇則介紹其他各種性病。高耀潔教授以故事形式寫出愛滋病、性病的傳播途徑及悲慘的結局，並在故事後加了「註解與點評」說明解決方法，可謂自我防治愛滋病、性病，保衛個人健康的必備手冊，難得的科普教育叢書。
