Description

Own Funny Animal Entertainment's newly redrawn and reprinted edition of legendary underground cartoonist Isaac Baranoff's 2003 debut, "Horndog #1", originally released when Baranoff was 13! This edition features newly redrawn art by Robbie Allen (aka Pembroke W. Korgi) and a brand new cover design paying tribute to FRANK ZAPPA's debut album FREAK OUT!

Bob the Dog is a 21 year old dirtbag canine pot dealer from a extraterrestrial planet of people that look like animals. He meets 18 year old African-American feline Charlene Kat at a party, but when he considers giving up his pattern of promiscuous sex to enter into a monogamous relationship, but winds up getting kidnapped and buried alive by vindictive psychopathic stalker Andrea Mouse, who's mad that he didn't want to date her! He awakens in a hospital having no way of paying his bills, and quickly has to assemble his stoner friends to steal a massive amount of government grown weed from Area 51 and sell it at an all star rap concert featuring known potheads like Snoop Dogg, Cypress Hill, Kid Rock and their stoner fans! After a successful night of dope selling that pays his hospital bills, Bob throws a wild party, and the next morning wakes up to find his Florida town of Zoo Key invaded by zombie socialists!

HORNDOG is a hilarious social satire in the tradition of SOUTH PARK and THE FREAK BROTHERS, and the debut issue takes aim at numerous topics that were not only extremely topical in 2003, but are still relevant today, including government overreach, mob mentality, mass stupidity, individualism vs. collectivism and more! HORNDOG also continues to be unlike any other comic book on the market in it's fusion of dark comedy, satire, romantic comedy and horror. Writer Isaac Baranoff is a true American badass who started his own company when he was 13 and became one of comics' most iconoclastic self-made success stories!
